Saturday: Me and my friend Scott aka the new guy on Staff with MCYM/Club Beyond traveled to Vilsek/Graf in Bavaria to watch the Heidelberg Lions football team block a punt with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter then score to win the game by 1 point. We enjoyed a good Doner and the sun was breaking through and saturating the countryside as we listened to a great sermon by David Nasser on the ride home.
Sunday: Up before dawn I scooped up my friend Lindy in my 23 year old BMW and we headed toward the Rhine River for a day on the water, a day near the castles, a day in the big hills under a chilly sky. We Rhine River cruised and had a great breakfast on the boat, overcame many small obstacles and had a great time exploring this beautiful area of Germany. A day that good will be hard to forget!
Home from a weekend of travels it's back to the cause. Last night at Club Scott gave a great Club Talk on our value to God preceded by small groups that allowed students to process through the verses before we even heard them preached. We have a lot of students that need the Way, the Truth and the Life. Needless to say ...God is stirring hearts in us and all around us. I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God.
